Initial Comment:
User request for additional sort capabilities:

1) multiple criteria (sort types / positions). At the minute primary / secondary / tertiary etc sort are achieved by doing one , then another, then another (not using the resort toolbar but by reselecting the "sort" option from the main dropdown in concordance.php) This is probably the least confusing way to implement this.... although it is admittedly a bit confusing that you have to do the weakest sort --first--.

2) multiple tag restrictions (include or exclude). If you want to exclude all nouns, being able to exclude NN1, NN2, NP1, NP2 --but-- only one of these at a time is not much good. Again, it is currently possible to work around this by iterating through the "sort" postprocess multiple times.  But this is impractical if you wish to exclude a long list of tags. BNCweb gets round this by building in regex options that correspond to major groups of tags, but this depends on knowledge of the tagset that CQPweb doesn't have.
