I have not so far been able to test the installation script on Win7, only Win XP.
However, I can think of one possibility – it might be that you need to run the batch file from an administrator command prompt, as it affects the usually-protected Program Files tree. That might be worth a try.
Failing that: Can you look at whether the script actually accomplished any of its steps, to give me an idea of what point it crashed at?
· Has the folder C:\Program Files\CWB (or, the equivalent for your language version of Windows) been created?
· Has the subfolder “bin” been created?
· If so, does it contain any files?
· Has the subfolder “lib” been created?
· If so, does it contain any files?
· Has the subfolder “include” been created?
· If so, does it contain any files?
· Has the subfolder “man” been created?
· If so, does it contain any files?
best
Andrew.

Subject: [CWB] CWB 3-4-3 installation on Windows fail
Hello everyone !
I’m trying the Windows version of CWB 3.4.3 and am meeting trouble with installing it.
I’ve tried both ways of installation described in the install.txt file. When double-clicking on install-cwb-win, nothing happens. When entering the path of install-cwb-win in the command-line interface, the command-line simply closes itself, evidently without installing the program.
I’m under Windows 7, 32 bit version. Can anyone help me ?
