[CWB] New CQP Error

Dear Andrew,

Thank you so much for such a speedy response! That did the trick. There were a number of entries that had to be deleted. In order to prevent a further problem of the same type I commented out the code that writes the user macros to the DB (as our real users aren't using them at the moment). Hopefully that should be enough to prevent a re-occurrence.

Thanks again for such a terrific piece of software and wonderful support.

Kind regards

Stevie

You are running an open CQPweb server and your "create user macros" form has been attached by a drug selling spambot!

Delete the bogus entry or entries from the macro table and it will start working again.

best

Andrew.

Subject: [CWB] New CQP Error

Dear All,

Our CQP installation was working fine until recently but we're now getting the following error on all searches:

---
CQP sent back these error messages:

**** CQP ERROR ****

CQP Error:

CQP Syntax Error: syntax error, unexpected ID, expecting '('

define macro methotrexate generic( <--

Synchronizing until next ';'...

PARSE ERROR
---

We haven't made any changes to the code at all recently so we're at a loss as to what might be happening here. Does anyone have ideas, please?

Many thanks

Stevie
