“I’ve never used it” doesn’t mean “I don’t know what it is”. I am fully aware what it is and how to find it. I have just never had occasion to use it. I don’t have occasion to use it now.

best

Andrew.

Dear Andrew,
Well I’ve never used the “NoSketch” version, only SketchEngine, so I can’t comment on the former.

NoSketch Engine is an (open-source) subset of Sketch Engine.

https://nlp.fi.muni.cz/trac/noske

Out of the five main functionalities of Sketch Engine (i.e., Concordance, Word list, Word Sketch, Thesaurus, and Sketch-diff), only first two have been included in the NoSketch Engine.

You may want to try "how it feels" at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana web portal

http://nl.ijs.si/noske/index-en.html

or at our Aranea Project portal

http://ucts.uniba.sk/

The access is free (registration is required for work with larger versions of all corpora).

Best,

Vlado B, 11:00
