This bug is, I believe, fixed in 3.2.8 but I would not recommend upgrading just yet due to the presence of a variety of other bugs. (Working on them).

best

Andrew.

Subject: [CWB] Update from cqpweb 3.1.4 to 3.2.6: What happened to saved queries and categorised queries?

Hallo,

here is another problem in upgrading our cqpweb installation from
3.1.4 to 3.2.6.

I cloned the 3.1.4 installation to our test server, updated the php
code, ran the scripts
upgrade-database.php, load-pre-3.2-corpsettings.php, and
upgrade-database.php again.

Then I went to a corpus, clicked on "Categorised queries" in the "User
Controls" group and clicked
on the "Show history" button.

There was no history left. cqpweb 3.2.6 still knows which users have a
history of categorised queries,
but the history itself is not displayed. The same thing happens to the
"Saved queries".

I inspected the database with mysql and found that the relevant tables
(like db_catquery_enctiy4su4) are still there and that the Categorised
queries are still listed in the database table saved_catqueries.

Why aren't they shown?

The Operating system is still SLES 11 SP 3 with php53.

Many thanks,

Jörg Knappen
