Hi Umut,

These errors seem to arise from the fact that you are the first person to run CQPweb on top of PHP v 7. (Which in turn is due to your Ubuntu version: I’ve updated my home computer to Ubuntu 16.04 but not done much testing yet). Although, in theory, it ought to work unproblematically, you have fallen into the gap between theory and practice!

I can see what the errors are likely to have been caused by, and will attempt fixes in v3.2.16.

best

Andrew.

Subject: [CWB] Word lookup and collocation tool errors

Dear Andrew and all,

I am having some problems with the generation of concordance lines of the results displayed in word lookup and collocation tools.
Whenever I use both tools, the very first results are shown properly.

In word lookup tool, for instance, when I generate all the word forms starting with the word "chat", CQPweb interface perfectly generates entries such as "chat, Chateauroux, Chatman" and so on.
However, when I click on one of the items in the list, the interface shows a blank screen.
The apache error log messages regarding to this problem are as follows.

[Thu Jun 02 10:47:45.436982 2016] [:error] [pid 22283] [client 3.3.3.3:40386] PHP Notice: Undefined index: lookupShowWithTags in /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/wordlookup.inc.php on line 66, referer: http://1.1.1.1/cqpwebnew/tenmillionfornewcqp/index.php?thisQ=lookup&uT=y

[Thu Jun 02 10:48:45.156013 2016] [:error] [pid 21350] [client 3.3.3.3:40396] PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_unbuffered_query() in /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/library.inc.php:344\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/cache.inc.php(758): do_mysql_outfile_query('SELECT beginPos...', '/usr/local/shar...')\n#1 /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/cache.inc.php(637): QueryRecord->do_postprocess_item(Object(CQPwebPostprocess), Object(QueryRecord))\n#2 /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/concordance.inc.php(569): QueryRecord->do_postprocess(Object(CQPwebPostprocess))\n#3 /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/exe/concordance.php(1): require('/var/www/html/c...')\n#4 {main}\n  thrown in /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/library.inc.php on line 344, referer: http://1.1.1.1/cqpwebnew/tenmillionfornewcqp/redirect.php?redirect=concBreakdownWords&qname=f4gxfnt65k&pp=50&uT=y

Secondly, in order to generate the collocates of the node word "chat", I use concordance tool at first. The concordance tool perfectly lists all the concordance lines, and then collocation tool properly lists all the collocates of the node; however, to see the concordance lines of the node with its collocation (i.e. chat rooms), I click on the links under "Observed collocate frequency pane", but the interface similarly generates a blank screen with the apache error log message below.

[Thu Jun 02 10:57:36.001810 2016] [:error] [pid 21980] [client 3.3.3.3:40444] PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_unbuffered_query() in /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/library.inc.php:344\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/cache.inc.php(730): do_mysql_outfile_query('SELECT beginPos...', '/usr/local/shar...')\n#1 /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/cache.inc.php(637): QueryRecord->do_postprocess_coll(Object(CQPwebPostprocess), Object(QueryRecord))\n#2 /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/concordance.inc.php(569): QueryRecord->do_postprocess(Object(CQPwebPostprocess))\n#3 /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/exe/concordance.php(1): require('/var/www/html/c...')\n#4 {main}\n  thrown in /var/www/html/cqpwebnew/lib/library.inc.php on line 344, referer: http://1.1.1.1/cqpwebnew/tenmillionfornewcqp/collocation.php?maxCollocSpan=5&qname=f4gxl90u5f&uT=y

My system specifications are as follows:
CQPweb v3.2.15 - SVN revision number 835
Ubuntu X64 16.04
PHP 7.0.4
MySQL 5.7.12
Apache 2.4.18

Thanks for your help.
Umut
