[CWB] Parallel Corpus Installation and Management on CQPweb

Dear Yu,

Below you will find a possibility discussed some time ago (I cannot find the actual thread), although, as Andrew said, CQPweb does not support parallel corpora yet. Since we are also working towards the same direction (i.e. trying to see if we can customise CQPweb to analyse parallel corpora), we would like to ask, if you don’t mind, if you know when this would be possible or if we can contribute in any way.

“Another possibility - also proposed on the list a while ago, I forgot who (sorry), but I am still grateful for that info - is to annotate the aligned sentence or chunk as an XML-attribute.
An example from the GeCCO Corpus (English-German):
<sentence aligned "Die Nationale Energiepolitik von Präsident Bush">
President
Bush
' s
National
Energy
Policy
</sentence>
You can then display the xml attribute in CQPweb - You just have to select the respective XML-attribute under "Manage visualisation-(2)Free translation" with "Concordance only":

CQPweb doesn’t (yet) support parallel corpora.

Are there any rather detailed instructions on how to install parallel corpora and manage them on CQPweb? I am looking for some working tutorials/examples to do so.
