You're on 3.2.11? That might explain a certain amount. It's 7 months old and contains now-fixed bugs (like the one that caused that error message, actually).

Thanks for this, Andrew. I think the error in the Apache server log is:
"PHP Catchable fatal error:  Object of class DbType could not be 
converted to string in /var/www/html/CQPweb-3.2.11/lib/db.inc.php on 
line 600, referer: 
http://cqpweb.univ-avignon.fr/flaubert_romans/concordance.php?theData=est&qmode=sq_nocase&pp=50&del=begin&t=&del=end&uT=y"
I've changed various permissions, etc. but I think I'll have to talk 
this through with the server administrator tomorrow before I can move 
forward!
