[CWB] compilation fails for 3.4.12

I’m not root at the machine and I don’t want to mess around too much with local lib-files.
The funny thing is that CWB compiled on the same machine without problems before. I wonder if that is an update on the machine or in CWB that causes the difference now …

Try

sudo yum install ncurses ncurses-libs ncurses-devel

(or, possibly, “reinstall” ?)

I think that libtinfo is in ncurses-libs… but if that fails then here are some other packages you could install to see if they fix the issue it:

ncurses-static
ncurses-term
ncurses-compat-libs

If one of the above works let us know so I can update the list of required packages for Fedora-based systems.

best

Andrew.

I’m referring to OS distro packages not physical library files. What OS or Linux distro are you on?

I have

/lib/libncurses.so.5
/lib/libncurses.so.5.7
/lib/libncursesw.so.5
/lib/libncursesw.so.5.7
/lib64/libncurses.so.5
/lib64/libncurses.so.5.7
/lib64/libncursesw.so.5
/lib64/libncursesw.so.5.7
/usr/lib/libncurses.so
/usr/lib/libncursesw.so
/usr/lib64/libncurses.so
/usr/lib64/libncursesw.so

but not libncurses5 - is that the reason?
