Yeah, the whole idea of the InABox is to be usable by people who don't know how to Linux. VirtualBox, for all its limits, has a UI with the least scary number of inexplicable buttons...

A barebones Debian install, with LXDE on top, cannot be bigger and might be smaller; plus with any Ubuntu derivative I fear the upgrade pain.

But they only work in Linux, where CQPwebInABox seems to be needed the least … and on Linux, there are better alternatives such as Singularity, I'm told.
