"Private ontologies" – I'm going to use this NP more often ;) What I
meant was fundamental linguistic problems of corpus composition
assessment, corpus quality evaluation, etc., which necessarily IMO have
to be discussed with linguists prominently involved (plus corpus
creators and – if they are interested – other CL people). Whether I said
that in the first email or made it clear later (maybe in my reaction to
Christ' contribution), I'm not sure. See also CfP of WAC-XI.

Anyway, my suggestion remains to focus more intensely on linguistics in
the development of a new WAC agenda, starting with a CleanerEval first
round where definitions are discussed with folks with deep linguistic
knowledge about things like text structure, etc., if we can get them to
contribute at all.

I'll be on vacation starting tomorrow, but I hope the discussion
continues, regardless of the direction it takes. Big thanks to everyone
