[CWB] Query lock violation

Hello

I was trying to use CWB::CQP exec_query method, with

@lines = $cwb->exec_query($query);

where $query holds

A = "europa"; cat A;

But I get
WARNING: query lock violation attempted
PARSE ERROR

Any hint on what's going on?
