[CWB] accessing the corpus

Dear Andrew
I am trying to access the Dickens corpus.  I tried CQP using cmd.exe with
this options:
"cqp -e -r registry"
to specify the registery directory but I couldn't.
The path to the corpus is this: C:\DemoCorpus
What should I enter to specify the registry?
and I didn't find the "CORPUS_REGISTRY environment variable".
