Hmm! This is not specific to that script, but is universally how symlinks for corpora are created. I think that using absolute paths was probably a function of my failures of understanding when it comes to symlinks back when I implemented this way of doing the web directories.
I'll fix so this does not happen in the future.

I want to report a "Mis-feature" of the update script
load-pre-3.2-corpsettings.php:
It creates soft links with an absolute path (e.g.,
/path/to/webserver/cqpweb/exe).
This works OK when you update the system "in place" and never move or
copy it to another place. In that case, all links are broken.
IMO, it would be better to have relative pathes here (e.g., ./exe).
