Yes, I get it, but you never know, so just in case I did the config.mk editing....
well, what you did was the trick, now it was succesfully installed, thanks a lot!!

The
single-step installation script is
instead of the usual process. You donââ¬â¢t need to edit the config
file if youââ¬â¢re using it, as it will ââ¬Åguessââ¬
config values for you.
As
Stefan said, ââ¬ÅPlease read the INSTALL instructions carefully and follow
them,
or use one of the auto-install scripts (also described in
INSTALL). â⬠(emph mine)
That
is, you should EITHER edit the config.mk file and then follow the list of
ââ¬Åmake ââ¬Â¦Ã¢â¬ commands in the
instructions
OR
use the install script which does everything in one step.
Re
the readline.h error: I suspect this may be because
Debian has recently updated the
package naming for readline. Instead of ââ¬Ålibreadline6-devââ¬
what is needed is now just ââ¬Ålibreadline-devââ¬.
Iââ¬â¢ve updated the install script in SVN just now to account for this. Hope
this helps.
best
Andrew.

Ok, I better describe how do I install....
svn co
http://svn.code.sf.net/p/cwb/code/cwb/trunk
cwb
cd cwb
edit config.mk
where I changed platform to
PLATFORM=linux-64
and site to
SITE=standard
close and save
then run
sudo ./install-scripts/cwb-install-ubuntu
where I get the error,

want to do that (and set PLATFORM to
linux-64), but you can also do it on the command-line for each make command, e.g
make
all SITE=standard PLATFORM=linux-64 make install SITE=standard PLATFORM=linux-64

^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That's because you didn't
install the required readline library.
Please read the INSTALL instructions carefully and follow them, or use one of the
auto-install scripts (also described in INSTALL). Taking a quick look at the
appropriate
auto-install script will also help you to figure out exactly which packages you need
to
install. Best, Stefan
