[CWB] Parallel corpus -- finetweaking

Dear all,
I've set up a parallel corpus with cqpweb (original and translation), 
but on double-checking, I have decided to improved the quality of the 
tagging on the English side.
I've therefore re-tagged the original with amendments, and set it up as 
a monolingual corpus in cqpweb.
Now, my question is, is there a simple, non-destructive way to 
un-register the existing alignment and register a new alignment, or 
would I be best off removing both corpora in the first parallel corpus, 
removing my alignment file, and starting afresh?
