I'm afraid I haven't kept the screenshot, and have messed around since, 
manually deleting things from a shell. Interestingly, there's also a 
tech' at university working on it, who seems to have got some of the 
functions back (though I'm getting "0" results for queries in some 
corpora, which makes me think I might need to reinstall).
One possible clue to the reason behind all this, *might* lie in the fact 
that, in the corpus I was attempting to index, there was a trailing 
angle-bracket. I wonder whether this "<" might be responsible for 
throwing a spanner in the works.
I'm sorry I can't be more precise. When the tech' gets back in touch, 
I'll see whether his debugging has revealed anything interesting and 
will report back. Thanks again.
